Witch Life 7: The Secrets out?!?!

 Next lesson is with Mr. Takaramanaka which everybody doesn’t want to expect, but now is already the end of the lesson and five minutes more school will end. Though when all the others are preparing to go home Mr. Takaramanaka suddenly call me, everyone is shock and starting pitying me and they even whisper “Good luck there” ok so I’m a little nervous right now but what exactly does Mr. Takaramanaka needs from me, “Ms. Fujina” he said, “Yes?” “My wife and daughter said she had a lovely time at the neighbor house which is your house so she made this food and hope you’ll eat it for dinner” fat scary teacher just say what?! Everyone in the class was even shocked to see my neighbor was “The” Mr. Takaramanaka till their mouths are wide open including ME! I mean I can’t believe my rich neighbor were Mr. Takaramanaka families, I knew I heard their last name somewhere. “We…well please give my regards to them” I said in a little voice, but Mr. Taramanaka has a sharp ear so he only nod. The bells ring and I run as fast as I could out of the classroom, “Yukisa wait up, so are you kidding me? “The” Mr. Taramanaka was actually your neighbor! Why didn’t you tell me?” “I just know it today myself, and I feel like I’ve been cursed” “Well enough of that let’s go, you promise to go out with me today after school right?” “Oh right, it’s to that cute shop, where is it?” “It is at Shibuya, We’ll have to take the subway train so let’s hurry and go now” “You really always were rushing at things Shio” we both then laugh together. At Shibuya Wooooooww, I never thought that Tokyo could be this crowded, “Let’s go, I know all the best store so let’s go this way” “all right, right, not so fast okay” we look around the shop Shio requested and we bought many cute clothes and accessory, and with the money the headmaster gave me I shop a lot, and of course I save some for emergency. And before we know it was almost sun set, “Thank you so much for hanging out with me Shio” “No problem, I enjoy myself as well. Ah isn’t that Rio?” “Oh it is” “Over here Rio!” I don’t really want to meet him but since Shio wants to see him I’ll try to be nice to him. “Hey Shio I see you’re shopping with that blond weird girl” bear with it Yukisa, bear with it! “Rio, don’t be like that, can you be nicer to her?” said Shio “That’ll be up to me Shio, and it’s been a while since you go out” wow Rio is being really nice, at least to me, as expected of childhood friend, “Oh, hey Shio, can I go to the Supermarket there for awhile, I need to stock some food at my house” I said to Shio, “Sure, I’ll go with you, hey Rio want to come with us?” Why does she has to asked Rio, “Ok, why not?” said Rio, better yet why does he agree? We went to the nearest convenience store, and I now I could buy the things I need, if I know them. I mean come on the foods here ridiculous how come a cabbage is green? And why the beans are having different colors. But thanks to my grandma’s book I could recognize like a normal human. “Ok I have everything I need Shio” I said to her, “Geek, that’s a lot, do you need help taking those to your house?” said Shio, but I refuse, “Why, I want to know your house!” “Aha! I thought that was your main intention” I said, and then Shio back off a little like I hit the jackpot. “So are we done here or not?” said Rio, “Yeah, I’m done so let’s go back” I said, but it looks like I’m not going back that fast, “EVERYBODY DUCK AND DON’T MOVE OR WE’LL SHOOT!” said a bunch of people that came her suddenly with a guns on their hand. Me, Shio, and Rio duck, “Yu….Yukisa, wha…what’s going too happened” said Shio with a wavy voice, and her whole body is shaking. Even though she did aikido, in a situation like this, I don’t think she’s brave enough to handle the pressure. Rio on the under hand is calm, but he has this serious face on him, guess he’s really worried about Shio and figuring how to get out of here. While I don’t know anything, I’m in a panic here! I’m in the human world and there’s a robbery, I’m panicking and scared with a poker face. But I have absolutely no idea what to do, well this place isn’t a perfect place for thinking. Well the most important thing is right now is to get out of here, the police has arrived but hey they can’t do anything right now with this many hostages. Okay I think I’ve a plan now, but a bad plan. Should I go with it, or should I not? Do I do it, or do I not? Ah I really need someone to help like Tsukasa, but I can’t call him, and I can’t just rely on a person by a wimp. “Oh you woman get up!” “Eh….me?!” said Shio, “Yeah hurry up and get up!” she pulled Shio rashly and all Shio can do is scream even though she tried not to, “Stop it, what are you trying to do to her!” cried Rio, it was the first time seeing him that panicked, but the robbers just point there gun on him and tell him to be quiet, then one of them say, “We need a little help from her to make sure to stop the polices movements hehehe, and if she dares to go against us we’ll just shoot her and get another hostages, easy like taking a candy from a baby” with a face like he’s mad at the robbers and himself for unable to do anything, Shio just cried even though she tried to hold it in all this time. Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, what the hell am I doing, I don’t have time to be thinking, it’s time to commence plan A, “Eh, excuse me can I go to the bathroom, one of you could guard me so I won’t run away” nobody response, they must be stunned for me to say this in a situation like this, but the robbers gave me permission, and I think you know what I’m going to do. There was one woman who’s guarding me and she confiscates my phone, well I already expected that. I take a deep breath in the toilet, while the woman waited me outside. There was no escape hole here so as I thought I have to used it, “Those guys are bad so put a stop, and put some sparks on above and pop” Then something strange happen on all the lights at the convenience store, even the police are shock, the lights somehow pop and went off. While the robbers are confuse I put the woman to sleep and go to where Shio and the others. I’m now behind the counters and the store is very dark, the robbers shoot some bullets above the ceiling and hold tight of Shio so no one makes a move or take advantages of the situation. Ok plan A succeed, now what’s for plan B? I already put a spell on my eyes to be able to see better in the dark, but what the hell am I going to do next? And if I’m not careful, there’s no telling what happened if Wait…….if Shio knows Aikido, maybe Rio some other martial arts as well and with my help the plan will succeed greatly. I was able to sneak to Rio side and tried to whisper with voice as little as possible, “Pssst, Rio can you hear my voice?” “Yeah, what now? Can’t you see we’re in a serious situation here!” ooh, so he’s a hot headed type, wait I need to focus here! “Look Rio I have a plan, I don’t know if it’ll worked 100% and it’s a gamble, if we lose it’s over” “Okay so what’s the plan?” “How good are you in martial arts?” if he’s really good at it, the plan will be smooth “What are you talking about? I’ve never done martial arts, though I like watching them” WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATT!!!!! And in this crucial time, why does god hate us? “So what’s the plan?” said Rio “If you can’t do martial arts then my plan is pointless” I said, I feel my face is really ugly right now while it’s fill of disappointment “Don’t give up now, can’t you hear it? Shio’s crying” After hearing it carefully, I could hear her small voice, crying. She must be really being scared right now and suffering. I don’t have time to be thinking like this, I need to save her ASAP. “Okay, so here’s the plan” I whisper the plan to Rio. Even though it was dark I somehow knew he has a smile on his face. “But how will we do the first part of the plan?” asked Rio, leave it to me I just need to hide behind your back” “Huh?” no one was behind Rio, and the robbers are focus on the other hostages and the police. “Boumouru Scatterak” a sound and lights of tiny bomb appear around the convenience store, both the robbers and the hostages panicked except for the leader who has Shio on his hold, “DON’T PANICK! GET AHOLD OF THE HOSTAGES!” he said, but then immediately I said to Rio “Plan start!” Rio get around one of the robbers and hit him, one and another he was able to get around and attack them, finally it was only the leader left, the leader can’t see Rio so it’s perfect, “Rio go left and take Shio, then duck and hit his vital spot or his gut if you can and round him up” I wonder if I’m being to rash. “Put lights in the room, as shine as the moon” the lights then came back on. The first thing I saw when the lights came on was that the man was like a pawn in Rio’s hand and Shio was freed. Me and her immediately hug and Shio then cry out loud, “Don’t worry everything is fine now” I said. I then look at Rio and say “I thought you said you’ve never done martial arts?” “I don’t, but that doesn’t mean I’ve never fight before” Well he looks like the kind of guy who would fight when someone asked for it and I’m so glad to read grandma’s book, now I could use the human’s gadget. The police the rush in, really they were so useless. We all then sit at the back of one of the ambulance car, and we were question by the police a little, “Hey Rio, how come you were able to attack the robbers even though the lights were off?” asked Shio, “Ah, because of this” “He…. headphones?” “It’s the one I bought with you, I talked with Rio with this secretly, and told him the robber’s position and actions, while their confuse in the dark wearing their mask” I said “But how come you’re able to see in the dark?” asked Shio “A….ah, I also bought a night vision glasses as well but it looks like I lost it now, ahahahaha” “Did you buy that? Well oh well thanks for saving me Yukisa, Rio” Me and Rio just nod and smile kindly. “Aaahhh, Shiooooooo!” cried someone who looks like to be a police or a detective, he hug her tightly and cried “Wuuuuaaaaahhh, you were really afraid right Shio, I’m sorry for not able to do anything” “Who’s he?” I asked, “Ah, uncle” said Rio, “Don’t worry papa, I’m alright now” paaaapaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?! “Paaaaaaaapaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?!?!?!” “Ah, Yukisa let me introduce you my papa, detective Kouji Yano” said Shio “Please to meet you young lady and thank you for taking care of my little Shio “Dad, I’m not little anymore” “Well the important thing is….is you’re alriiiiiiight…ht….ht” “And there goes the waterworks” said Shio, all I could do is try not to laugh, “Wow, his a doting father” I said, “He is, but when he’s at work, he turn into a completely different person” said Rio, hmm, I’d like to see that I thought “Well then Rio, Yukisa, how about a ride home with us” suggested Shio, “No thanks Shio” I don’t know why but when I ride cars I got really sick, “What about Ri…” before Shio could finished asking he says “I’ll pass” “Oh I….see….” hmm, is it my imagination or does Shio face gets a little sadder, “Well I better go now or dad will cry from worries” she said “I still don’t get how your dad is related with your narcissistic brother” I said “Yeah, me too” said Shio, then we both laugh. “But Yukisa there’s something that bothers me for awhile” “What is it Shio?” “I’ve been wondering about the strange things that happened back there, like how the lights suddenly went off, how you escaped, and how there was suddenly bomb noise” “I wonder, well since it’s all in the past let’s forget it and move forward, see your dad’s waiting so bye bye” I pushed her to the car, then went away Shio then went home with the police car, “I’m glad my stuff were not destroyed, but now that I look at it there’s a lot of stuff alright” just when I’m taking my 5th bag, Rio takes the rest and say, “I’ll take the rest to your home” I want to refuse but I don’t think he’ll be listening to me, so I said ok and we take the subway train. “I’ll be walking home now, are you sure it’s okay for you to walk me all the way home?” I asked to Rio, “It’s OK, but why not just take the taxi?” “Ugghhh, I don’t know why but only cars and bus were the only thing makes me sick” FYI, I tried them at night, but that’s a secret between you and me, “So you get car sick, that’s an unexpected weakness you have?” he said with a smirk on his face, “What’s that supposed to mean!?” I said while walking toward him. We both walked and chatted, I never thought that I would be able to talk to him like this, even though I have a little bad impression about him at first, and he was quite funny. “This is my house, thank you for walking me home” “No, you shouldn’t” “Eh?” “I should be the one thanking…… for saving Shio, Yukisa” it’s the first time he said my name and I’m now extremely happy “Don’t worry about it, then see ya” I said, and he walked away. “I’m home” “Welcome back sister, I’m happy you’re home” “Let me guess, another spider?” Atsuka just nod, “Really what’s wrong with this house, to have so many spiders, does the “headmaster intend to tease my brother” if it’s true then good job head master. Meanwhile Rio “Oh, this is bad, one of her bag is in mine, huh, guess I need to go back” then Rio goes back. At the house “Thondoro Monzelle” “Che, this spider is good, I’ve tried 7x but none of them hits” I thought for a sec, then an idea hits me, “Well then I’ll just have to lift all these furniture so you won’t anywhere to hide” I take a deep breath and say,”Sonovese Lifvoto” all the furniture float, “I got you now, Mr. Spider, now be prepared, Thondoro…..” “Oy, I took your bag by mistake, and you should be careful to lock the do…..” with a spider in front of me, and a furniture floating above me, and Rio staring with a face I don’t know if it’s a no emotion face or shock face. Okay, so let’s take a good look at the situation. While I was catching a spider I used magic to make it easier for me to catch it, and while the furniture floating above me, Rio saw something he should have never seen. And more important, what’s going to happened to me! I don’t want to be expelled! Huuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, somebody help me. The spider disappeared, and the furniture went to its usual place, only silence covered the three of us, and the first thing I said was, “Atsuka, repay me by tying him to the couch!” and immediately he does what I say, “Oy Yukisa, what the hell is going on?” cried Rio “Well, since you just saw something you shouldn’t have seen, it’s time to pay the consequences” “So when the furniture is floating above the room, I wasn’t imagining, and you were the cause?” I didn’t know what to say at first, but then I say in a squeaky voice, “No, it was like you just said it was just your imagination, I mean floating furniture, like that is even possible ohohohoho” “You know it’s too late to take what you first said about “Consequences”” Egh, I give in, and untie him and prepare to tell the truth, but Atsuka just prepare tea for Rio. “Listen well and don’t panic, my name is Yukisa Fujina I’m 16 years old but I’m not entirely human, in fact I’m from a different world caled the Witch/Wizard world, and I came here to study your world, and I can’t go back for three years, meaning until graduation I can’t leave this world, other than me my little brother Atsuka came as well for other circumstances, and the transfer student name Tsukasa. And if I use magic and was found out I’m a witch, I’ll be expelled from school” and then my tears began flowing out, I was thinking that would zip Rio lips. “This tea is great Atsuka, may I have more” “If you like” “Oy! I just said something serious here and you’re not listening here” I was really angry when I said that, “No, I heard you, you’re a witch, you’re here to study, and your secret can’t be known to anyone” I’m surprised he calmly understand the situation better than I expected, ‘So you’re not surprised?” “Surprised?! Hmm Yukisa, how could I be surprised, I’m SHOCK, can’t you see my hands are trembling!” said Rio with an angry face instead of a shock face. Well, now that’s what I expected. “Well, there’s no point in panicking, but since I know you’re a witch wouldn’t that make you expelled?” I cried at the sofa on the corner of the room, “Sorry, I said something offended” “But the bracelet didn’t react” said Atsuka, “What about the bracelet?” asked Rio, “Me and my sister have bracelet that will turn off if human see us using magic in front of them” explain Atsuka, “Maybe because Rio saw the magic but not the one who’s casting it” I said. Well after a long and nice cup of tea, Rio is now prepared to go home, “Rio, are you okay?” “Barely” “Ahahahaha, I see, but thank you for trying to keep this a secret for me” “Well if I let that secret out, I don’t think anyone will believe me anyway, and I don’t want to be involved of this in the first place” “Well at least to make it up, if you want any help, I’ll gladly give you a hand” I said, “Well then see ya” and Rio wave goodbye, and the problem solved (I think) “Way to go sis, you broke the rule in three days” “Please, let’s forget about the past and keep this our little secret, okay Atsuka” “Oh well, if you’re miserable for the rest of your life, I won’t able to make you miserable anymore, so I’ll do what you say this time” he’s annoying, but at a time like this I just want to hug him. Today is Saturday, and it’s now the fourth day since I came from the human world, and since yesterday I can’t sleep the whole night, the thing just keep bouncing in my head all the time, even when I’m a sleep I’ll dream about yesterday + nightmare. Because of that I went to school early, so early that I was the first one to come to class, maybe the first in school. So while I the time, I look around the school more, and maybe I’ll get the “Thing” about yesterday out of my head. But as I thought, even when I look around, it’s still popping in my head, ugghh how can I be so sensitive? Then when my mind was jumbled, I smelled something so delicious and unfamiliar. I followed where the scent is, and I’ve just found it. Within the big kitchen, there is a one girl with black long pony tail hair, with greenish eye, and she’s very pretty, and she’s baking something with a smell so delicious, that reminds me, I didn’t have any breakfast this morning. “So who could you be?” said the girl who was cooking, “Oh no harm intention, I was following a delicious smell and wanted to know where it came from but I’ll be going now” I said, then my stomach rumbled really loud enough for her to hear it. “Well since you’re here, why don’t you try my apple pie?” apple pie, but that doesn’t even look like an apple pie! The pie should be green or red or purple, and it should blow up when you’re finished baking it. Though I was afraid at first, I tried in the end, “Thi…this is…this is really good, it’s super delicious, you’re really good at cooking” and I mean seriously this is really good, it’s even better than the pie back home “Oh how flattering, well that’s because I practice, anyone can do it if you practice” she said, “Then can you teach me please” I said, I even begged her, “Well, instead of me teaching you, why don’t you join the cooking club, we’ll be able to learn how to make foods all over the world” “Really, can I really join?” “Of course, just try to come to this kitchen after school” “Thank you very much……oh yeah I forgot to introduce myself, how rude of me, my name is Yukisa Fujina, 1st year freshman from class 1A” “Nice to meet you Yukisa, I’m Kayuki Soumamoto, 2nd year junior from class 2B” yes, finally I could join a club, can’t wait to tell about this to Shio. My stomach then rumbled again, “Sorry, I kind of forgot to have breakfast this morning” I said, “Well you shouldn’t repeat that, Breakfast is a very essential meal of the day, here you can have my apple, at least you eat something” “Thank you very much Kayuki-senpai, next time I’ll definitely cook something for you” “Well then I’ll be anticipating for it” then we part. Uhmm, this is so delicious, too bad I finish it all, I wonder if she’s the president of the cooking club. I’m now inside the classroom, a few people have come, there’s the class prez and the class vice prez, the one who had duty today, and what do you know? It’s Shio, so she’s early as well, I wonder if she didn’t sleep well as well, “Hey Shio, you’re really early today” I said, “Yeah, I can’t really sleep because of what happened yesterday, and you’re early as well, did you not sleep well as well?” I just nod of agreement. Ten minutes till class starts and Rio finally came, which remind me the accident about yesterday, Auughh, and I thought I forgot about it already. With my body begin to shiver like crazy, I try to relax, but I still can’t help myself, then before I know it Rio sit beside me. What I just do is stay silent, but I don’t how long I can handle it, the only thing in my mind now is me yelling not to tell I’m a wizard to Rio in front of everybody, which makes me more stupid than ever, “Oy” said Rio, “Wha…what?” I said, “You don’t need to worry, I won’t tell anyone” when I heard him saying that, I was totally relieved, it looks like he knew I was thinking about yesterday, “But in exchange you’re going to tell me about witches and treat me to lunch” said Rio with a smirk on his face, “Yes sir” I said, well I knew it would come to this. At break After class ended, I immediately tell Shio what I forgot to tell her, “Hey Shio, guess what? I join a club!” “Seriously, Already, when and what?” “Well this morning, I was looking around and I met a girl from the cooking club, and she was cooking an apple pie, it was so delicious, and I thought why not join the cooking club like her, it sounds fun as well” “The cooking club?” Shio asked “Yeah” “You can cook Yukisa?” “Yeah, I always cook at my house, why?” “Well I thought you were those that was to clumsy to cook” “Well sorry to disappoint you Shio” I said. “Then, have joined any club you wanted?” “Well I’ve joined the volleyball club again, and I’ve written the formulary” “That’s great” “Yeah, but you know when I asked Rio what club he wants to do, he actually sign to the wind instrumental club” wow, Rio actually listen to my advice, and he does have a thing with instrument, so I ask Shio, “So what is he good at?” “If you want to know, let’s see him after school” said Shio. “So Shio, do you know anything about the cooking club?” “Sorry, I know nothing, when it comes to cooking, I stink like a bug” “I see” “But, Rio is good at cooking” “What, he is?!” That’s surprising “Yeah, he could do anything if he tries” said Shio “Except for singing” I said “Then Yukisa, when you cook some food in the cooking club, don’t forget to make one for me!” “I won’t forget” I said, and before we know it the bell rings. When School Ended All right school ended, so I immediately went to the school’s kitchen. Even though I’m right in front of the kitchen, my hand is way too nervous to open it. I mean, I kept thinking what will happen if I open the door, will they stare at me? Will they reject me? Will they give me a hard test? Will they humiliate me first by wearing a chicken costumes and who knows what it looks like when I join? And by forcing my hand and clearing my mind, I open the door. And there were a few people there but Kayuki-senpai was there so I felt a little relieved, “Yukisa-chan, I’m happy you came” “Well I’m here so how do I join here this club?” “Well first you just need to wait for our club leader, she’ll be here any minute” “eh, you’re not the leader Kayuki-senpai?” “No, no, no, I’m the treasurer actually, and only the third year could be the leader everybody knows that” “That’s because I’m a transfer students” “I see” said Kayuki-senpai. “Heee, we’ve got a freshman right away, good work Kayuki!” said a girl with her thumbs up, “Oh Yukisa, let me introduce her, she’s Koyumi Sasigawa, 2nd year junior from class 2B, the same class as me, and Koyumi this is Yukisa” “Well nice to meet you!” said Koyumi-senpai, “Ni…nice to meet you” I said nervously to the tall upperclassman with ponytail and quite dark skin, complete opposite of Kayuki-senpai, but they get along well. “Well just to warn you, our leader is a very strict, loud, and picky person, so you’ll need to have a lot of patient being in this club” said Koyumi-senpai. Then Kayuki-senpai suddenly says “And speak of the devil, he’ll come in 3….2….1…” the door opens and I knew that it was the club’s president, but what I didn’t know that he was a GUY?! “Ok, everyone! I’ve decided that we’re going to bake Soufflé today, don’t you dare make mistakes with this simple sweet!” Said the president loudly, “Asuma Karasuma-kun, his a Spartan president but his enjoyment in cooking is true, so don’t underestimate him just because he’s a guy” whispered Koyumi-senpai to my ear, “Hmmm, who might you may be” said the prez to me, his eyes were fully directed at me, “I… I’m Yukisa Fujina from class 1A, and I wish to join this club, please take care for me” I said a little nervous, “Hmm, a freshman huh? Well then are you a beginner at cooking?” asked the prez, “Well, I always cook at my house, but I could only cook recipes from my hometown” and I never get to used the ingredients from here, “Well I you need any help, you can just ask your senpai!” then he went to his shift. Well, that’s that, but how do you make a soufflé? He did say it was a simple dessert, “Yukisa, try watching me first and then you try it” said Kayuki-senpai “Ok” I said. I watched her carefully and also the others, though other than the president, I think how Kayuki-senpai beat the eggs, make the cream„ mix the batter was very beautiful and all I could do is watch and copy, “Everyone here has their own specialty, and Kayuki has extreme talents on making desserts” I see…… Then, when everyone finished, the prez taste check our soufflé, everyone got good critiques, but the prez compliment the most about Kayuki-senpai soufflé. When I tried it, it was just like the prez said, the cream was smooth as silk and very sweet, with its bread crusty and not too bitter and not too sweet, “Let’s try your shall we” said the prez with my soufflé on his hand. While gulping and fidgeting (Which is me) when he ate my soufflé, the first thing he said through his mouth, “The cream is too sour!” and my head immediately hit the table with depression. “Well the bread is good so, try making one at home and bring it here next week, make sure it’s perfect!” said the prez. I raised my head immediately and say, “Does that mean I could join this club?” “What do you think?” said the prez, I was seriously happy. We all talked a lot about other things about food, and the prez and vice-prez always talked about the next menu for next week. Finally the club finished without a problem, “Thank you for everything” I said, and I ran in a hurry to see the instrumental wind club. Beside the window of the instrumental wind club, Shio has already arrived looking things through the window, “Hey, Shio how are they?” I asked, “Yukisa, you’re not going to believe this!” I didn’t know what she mean by that, but when I’m getting closer, I heard a beautiful fierce sound of the piano and violin, and who would have thought it was Tsukasa who’s playing, and who on earth would ever though RIO, is playing the piano, and even good at it, no! He’s more than good, and he’s keeping up with “that” Tsukasa, “They’re amazing right Yukisa? I could see why you’re so attracted to Tsukasa-senpai” “I’m not!” I said, “Well, they sure play really well even though it’s their first time playing together” Playing together?! Oh you’re so wrong Shio. They’re not playing, they’re battling with sound. I could tell from how they play, they don’t want to lose to each other, but like Shio said they’re amazing, even the teacher is speechless over them. The song then finished in peace, everyone applause including me, my eyes were in daze of their talents. Then before I knew it, Tsukasa realizes I was here including Rio, “Geh, Yukisa?! Shio?! What are you doing here!” said Rio with his face kind of red, guess he doesn’t want me or Shio listen to him. I didn’t answer him, but me and Shio did wave at him. And then Tsukasa come at me and say, “Yukisa, we’re finished after one last practice song, so can you wait for me? I realize my house is the same direction as yours” “Sure, I also want to hear your violin play anyway” I said, Tsukasa smiled at me a little, I seem to know that he wanted to escort me since he’s a worry cat even if he doesn’t look like it. “Yukisa you know that guy?!” Said Rio, “Yeah in fact, she has been in the same school together with him before they transferred” said Shio, “That’s kind of the case, why you asked?” I asked, he then moans to us, “I HATE THAT GUY!” “Why?” I asked, “He pisses me off!” 10 minutes ago “Sorry can I look around at this club?” asked Rio, “Why of course, we would love to have the famous musician son to look around here” said the teacher, and then everybody gave him a warm welcome. Again this kind of treatment, well might as well get used to it though Rio, “Ah that’s right, Tsukasa-san, can you please play a song to welcome him” said the teacher, hmm, I heard a lot from the gossip girls about him, guess I could see why he’s so popular, “Sorry, but I refuse” said Tsukasa, Rio is a little surprised, “Teacher, he only came here to look around there’s no need a big welcome from him, and even though his parent is a famous musician I doubt his skill is worth to praise” and that snap Rio, “Then how about a test if you could say how worthy am I?” said Rio “Would that even worth it?” “Bet you can’t even keep up with me when I’m playing” “Then let’s see how you can do with me” Now Somehow I’m glad, I didn’t came early, I don’t want to see the fighting tense, “Well, are you going to join?” asked Shio, “Who would want to be in the same club as him” said Rio, “But you can fight him anytime here right?” I said, “Then maybe I reconsider” Wow, he’s really easy to manipulate. “Oh I need to go Yukisa, it’s almost curfew so bye” said Shio, and I wave goodbye, “Oy, Yukisa, since he was in the same school as you does that mean he’s a wizard as well?” asked Rio, “Yup” I said, “Aha, so he was using magic when playing” “Nope, he took pride on playing the violin and his skill is 100% real!” “Too bad” “Shall we go Yukisa?” said Tsukasa suddenly from behind, “Okay, bye Rio” I said and waved to him, but after five steps, I turn around and said loudly, “Rio, Let me hear you play again next time okay!” and I went home with Tsukasa, while Rio without my knowing was really happy hearing it. On our way, Tsukasa, suddenly ask me, “Yukisa, you’re hiding something aren’t you?” “Wha…. how could I possibly hide something” bulls eye! I was actually wondering if I should tell him about Rio, but now that he despise him, who knows what he might do, “Don’t lie, whenever you were wondering if you should tell me something, you would always walk looking left” did I had a strange habit? “Yukisa we’re in the same boat on having a quest here, so we have to help each other” said Tsukasa with his usual calm face, ‘Well, to tell you the truth……” I then told him everything and now we arrive at my house, “Well it’s only that then there’s no problem” said Tsukasa, “Really?” Tsukasa nod and say “I’ll just have to wait for a storm and have a thunder strike at him with magic” Should I’ve glad I told him? “Well, don’t worry about it, we can trust Rio” I said “Just don’t let it happen again” he said, I nod and went inside, I was really happy when he was worried about me. But then I said to myself, “Will everything be alright from now on?”

                 Chapter 6

            The Busy Week

“Kriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing” my alarm has already ranged five times because I kept hitting the snooze button and man it’s noisy, but then I finally wake up, “God, I sure have  rough sleep” I said while scratching my head, but then when I look at the alarm clock, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I’m going to be late at this rate!” I hurry take a bath, changed, have breakfast and hurry go to school.

“That bastard Atsuka, he could at least wake me up” I said while running and I didn’t forget to lock the door, after all I am used to it though, I don’t that I should brag or shame about it. When I’ve arrived at school, only ten seconds till the bell rings, I run as fast as I can and when finally I’m only eight steps away from the door to my class, I didn’t realize that someone was also running from getting late to class, my class, and before I could recognize his face, in high speed we bump into each other right in front of the classroom door,  and right when the school bells ring, “Oow, ah sorry I bumped into yo….Rio!” “Ooow, you again” said Rio with an angry face, but to me it looks like he was in a bad mood but there’s no time on dozing off, look who’s coming! “Ahh, the teacher at twelfth o’clock” I said when I had the glimpse of our music teacher, “That’s bad” said Rio, then he hurry open the door and we both came in together, but it looks like the door isn’t enough to get both of us through, “Get off me” said Rio “Then why don’t you let me go in first” I said, we both tried to go in first and it took a while, but finally we got in class and run to our sit, ah made it at last, I thought, the other’s were watching us and try not to laugh, “Whoa, I made it at last” I said after sitting down.

The teacher comes inside and the classroom prez gives the command to greet and bow, then they answer “Good morning class, I see everybody is present and didn’t come late, don’t you think so Ms. Fujina and Mr. Ichiya” “Yes Ma’am” we said together immediately in a nervous way. Oh, so Rio’s family name was Ichiya, which makes his name Rio Ichiya right?

Our music teacher would be Ms. Tainou Sayanaka and she said before the lesson we need to sing one Japanese folk song, well I’m not very good at singing but at least I know one Japanese folk song from my grandmother’s book, “Next, Rio Ichiya” said Ms. Tainou, I’ve been thinking but Rio’s face is kind of pale and at the same time looks angry, I suspect that he is in a bad mood but I wonder why his face is even more paler that I’m speechless about it when his name is called.

Rio then stands up and started to sing,

Aaaaah, aaaaaah, I can’t believe it, HIS A TONE DEAF! To think that he’s a tone deaf was unexpected, I had a thought that he would be fine when singing and at least good as me. My head was like being shot, and to add it up his face is blushing like a girl! Even though the other is resisting from laughing, I feel like I’m going to die from shocking than to die from laughing, now that I think about when I get involved in the Human World, I felt nothing but feeling shock and weird, “Ah that was great, you can sit down Mr. Ichiya” said Ms. Tainou, Rio then sits down while I tried not to look straight at him because I got the feeling that he would glare at me or make a scary face intentionally or unintentionally, but when I try to look at him a little, his face is way past being pissed I wouldn’t dare to look any longer, then the lesson started as usual, I better forget about that.

“Yukisa, wait up!” said Shio while waving her hand, I immediately then go to her, “So you barely made it to class right Yukisa?” said Shio with a smirk on her face, “Well I’m kind of used to it though” I said, “Meaning, you’re used to barely made it to school right?” said Shio, trying to make fun of me, “Can you stop with the smirk please, it’s a little scary and annoying” I said while backing down a little, “He…he…he…sorry, I’m just joking around here” said Shio with a smile and rubbing her head, “But I’m a little jealous that you could be close to him even a little” said Shio with her face red “Hmm did you say something Shio?” “Ahh, nothing at all Yukisa” “I see.”

“So have you decided what club you’ll choose to take?” asked Shio suddenly, “Not a clue, I don’t have any interest to do anything, maybe I shouldn’t join any club after all” “Hey, hey, all students must have a school or club activity, and this is in the school rules, you can’t just join the go-home club” said Shio, “What a drag” and it’s surprising that the Human World would also have the-go-home club, “Jeez, I never thought that I see you having negative thinking” said Shio “You could say I don’t have special talent or anything, or better yet because I don’t have anything that I wanted to do” I said while I walk around the school with Shio, “Don’t you have any hobbies?” asked Shio with her face getting a little worried, “Well, I use to sing side by side with my grandmother while she played the piano, but when she died I don’t have any interest on singing anymore” I said, “Well there must be something you must be interested in” said Shio, “Then how about after school, we go look around to see the other club” “Hmm, that’s not a bad idea, by the way what club are you in Shio?” “Oh I’m in….the Japanese ceremony” *………………..*, I was silent but the shio say “What’s with the Gosh-I-can’t-believe-that-it’s-freaking-me-out-robot-like-face” “Ha…ha…ha… I can’t help it, I thought you were the sport girl type, so I thought for sure you’ll be in some kind of sport related club” I said to Shio, “Well actually I used to be in the aikido, volleyball and the female soccer club, and I wonder once that I like to try the basketball club once I’m in High school” “So why didn’t you?” I asked to Shio, I kind a have a feeling it’s a question she doesn’t want to answer, but at least I want to know what her response is, “There’s….there’s a guy I like I want to impress” “Heeeeeeeeh, so Shio has a guy that she likes” she then close my mouth and whisper, “Don’t say it out loud or I’ll be dead stupid” “Don’t worry, it’s not that I’m shouting or anything” I said after removing Shio’s hand from my mouth, “Anyway I’m just doing this so I could impress that guy and that he would notice me, you probably think it’s weird right?” said Shio with her face all red, she was really cute that time “I think it’s weird” I reply, Shio then turn her head and look at me with an angry face, but before she could say anything, “I mean, how can you impress a guy when you’re doing something you’re not interested in, it will be pointless” I said, Shio begin to calm and confused “After all I don’t think he would be the perfect guy for you if he isn’t looking at you with something you’re really happy when doing it, and I think you don’t need to do things that you’re not interested in, it’ll be better if you could show him something  that could make yourself shine like doing the stuff you like, don’t you think so?” I said, “But if you still insist your choice is right then I won’t stop you, this is just a personal opinion, my words are also hard to understand right?” “No, you’re right Yukisa, you can shine the best when doing something you like and show someone what you really are, that’s what you meant right?” said Shio, “I think I’ll take a look at the basketball club” she said but with a brighter smile full of confidence, “That’s great!” I said.

“Thanks Yukisa, I didn’t know you were a hypocrytic” “I’m not, I’m just saying my opinion that’s all” I said with a little blush on my face, “Hey, how about if you join the basketball club with me instead?” asked Shio, but I immediately rejected it, “Why?” “If it is clubs that related to sport, count me out” I said while making my hand into a big X “Why, could it be you’re one of those people who stink at sport” said Shio while getting closer to me, “Well actually I’m not bad at them, but I’m not good at them either, I guess” Shio begin to smirk again after hearing that, “Then let’s hurry and change our clothes” Shio grab my hand and run to our classroom down stairs at a speed I couldn’t catch up, “Wait a minute Shio, What do you mean we need to change our clothes?” I said in a messed up way, what you expect I am force to run here! “Stupid, after this we’re going to have P.E. next remember?” “So why do we need to run, still have plenty of time” I said after we stop in front of our class, “Because I want to know how good you are in sport” what does that suppose to mean? And OMG there’s P.E. next! And I forgot to bring it on my first day, guess I have no choice. When Shio is busy getting her clothes I whisper a spell to get something you forget and making sure no one sees, “Luforesus Apearus” and poof my sport wear is here, now I can calm down.

We both get our sport uniform and change (In the girl’s bathroom of course) and we’re ready for P.E., Mr. Mizuko Mizuhara is the name of our sport teacher, I could see from the other students faces that they are looking forward for sport. And so we all go to the field, “Yosh everyone, I hope everyone is fine and healthy today, before we start our lesson, please run five laps around the fields!” said Mr. Mizuhara, some people just go with it, and some people think it’s too much, but we all then run anyway, “Hey Yukisa, let’s run together okay” said Shio when suddenly appear beside me, “Okay” I said, then we all start to run.

Since me and Shio run together, she really ask me a lot when we’re running, “So what kind of sport you’re good at Yukisa? Tennis, Athletic, Basket?” “Well you couldn’t say that I’m good at it” since I’ve never play it before I just hope the sports here aren’t that different like in the Witch World, “Why are you so interested in me that I’m good at sport or not?” I asked to Shio, “Because I want to be in the same club and spend more time with you” said Shio with a warm smile, I was really happy when I hear that, and before we know it we already run five laps.

After everyone run five laps, we all stretch first then Mr. Mizuhara said that we’re going to have basket for our first lesson, oh what should I do, I don’t know anything about sport in the Human World, I’ll bet I’ll be the worst student in sport and Shio will be disappointed, I thought.

Mr. Mizuhara said that this is not a test but just to see how good you are starting with basket, we all play in order of our names which mean I’ll be the last to play, well it’s a good thing since I could learn a little about basket by watching and maybe I could do it in no time (Try to be positive) as time goes by, it was almost my turn, and I still confuse how to play it, so all you had to do is catch the ball from the teacher in a certain way then dribble it, and then score it by putting the ball through the ring, it sounds easy but most people already are trouble by it and they had played it before and this my first time, this is bad! And finally it was Rio’s turn; “I wonder how good he is” I said in a small voice, Rio then show of his move and score the ball perfectly, “Wow he’s good” then all the girls scream of admiration, what the…don’t tell me Rio is popular with the girls, what is his good side anyway?

But if you look at him closely (At his face) he looks kind of handsome, KIND OF! And then it was Shio’s turn, and no different than Rio, when she played it she played it beautifully and then score, everyone clap hands to congratulate her while I wave my hand hard so she’ll notice me, and good thing she did and smile, “Wow she really is good at sport just like I expected, since Rio is her childhood friend I did thought that he would be good sport, and to be good at science, English, and math, but bad at singing and Japanese, he would be the opposite of me” could it be he’s the kind of people that when you’re good at something more than average person means you’re bad at something more than an average person, was it weird to say it?

And after a few people, it was finally my turn I was so nervous that I can’t even walk right, all I can do was freeze at that time, what should I do, how could I catch the ball I don’t know what to do!!!! Just when my teacher is right in front of me with the ball I become more nervous, then in no time at all the ball flies and hit right on my head, a ball that suddenly come from the other side, “Hey who threw the ball” shouted Mr. Mizuhara, I fell on the ground but I wasn’t hurt, then I saw there was a writing on the ball,

It was Shio, she threw the ball just to encouraged me, I’m going to hit her hard on the head for that still, I thought with a warm smile to a smirk with anger, the other strangely back away for a reason. Well if I think about it carefully, both Shio and Rio were good at basket, so I guess I just need to remember how they play it even though it won’t help me much, but just like Shio said I have to do my best.

Mr. Mizuhara blow his whistle and throw the ball to me, I tried to catch it but the ball slip through my hand and fell, I immediately get the ball and I dribble it like the other does, when the ring is right in front of me, I feel like the ring is soo high up is out of my reach and making me dizzy. But then I snap out and focus just to the ring, it’s okay just do what Shio told me, I thought, I jump and shoot and can you believe it! The ball flew way far from the ring or should I say it flies thirty meters away from here, I’m as surprised as the other is, and before the teacher could say anything, the ball mysteriously comes back and get through the ring, everyone is surprise even myself, no one dare to bring one comment, then not long the other just clap their hand and Mr. Mizuhara say, “Well done Ms. Fujina, you can sit down now” I nod my head and get to the other were, and there Shio has waited for me, “Yukisa, that was amazing, how did you do that?” asked Shio, the other around her also want to know how I mysteriously get the ball to the ring, “I wonder how?” I said to them, “Well what ever happened, you sure are lucky” said Shio while patting my back, and then I just realized that amazing thing can happen here even without magic.

Before we know it P.E. is noe finish and everyone go to our classroom and change, then our next period start fifteen minutes later so we now have the time to rest, “I still have a lot to learn here in the Human World” I said in a small voice, “YUKISA!!!” said Shio while suddenly hugging me from behind, “What is it?” I asked, “Tomorrow after school, would you like to go shopping with me, I found a cute shop that just open yesterday, I’m sure you love it” “Really, I’ll definitely go” I said, but then I realize something, this is bad, all the house tax and school fee are all paid by the headmaster, and I don’t know the money I have now will be enough for three years, guess I have no choice, “Hey Shio, do you know a place I could get a job?” “Yukisa you’re actually looking for a job?” said Shio, “Yeah, is that bad?” Shio then looks frozen, and I think tears are coming out of her eyes, “Yukisa you’re…..you’re…..you’re one of those poor students that could only live in a tent and on cardboard boxes when it rains, I’m sorry I didn’t know” she cried harder and hug me harder, “Don’t fantasize people’s life on your own!” I cried to her while pushing bher head away, “Listen I just want a regular job, and not because I have some sort big secret for the reason for it” and what I said was definitely a lie, and I didn’t even realize that someone is staring at me.

I’m at Shio’s table, and when I look outside of the classroom I see something interesting, “Whaoh, Mr. Mizuhara is quite famous don’t you think, look how many girls he’s surrounded” I feel sorry for him, it must be tired surrounded be many girls often, and I don’t wonder at all that he’s famous with his looks, “Well, Mr. Mizuhara is the most popular teacher in school even though his name is mostly for woman” said Shio, “I know right?”

Time passed by and it’s already after school, “Yukisa, shall we go?” said Shio, “Eh go where?” “Don’t you remember, we’re going to see how the other clubs are doing so you choose the club you want to enter” “Ah, I remember now” “Well enough chit-chat and let’s go” “But where are we going?” I asked, “I don’t know” said Shio in a calm facial expression; “Yoooouuuuuuuuu……” my killer instinct is almost at rage but she suddenly say, “Then let’s go to the choir club then” Shio immediately grab me and pull me out of the classroom. There are three music rooms in this school, and after school, one is used for the choir club, and one is use for the classical music club, and the last one is for the light music club that’s what I heard, “Let’s hurry and go to the first music room” said Shio, “Can you at least slow down a bit, you’re dragging me!” I cried, me and Shio found the first music room but instead observing it by coming in; we peek at it from outside, “Eeehm, Shio, why do we peek on the choir club when we can just go in and let us see how they’re doing?” “Isn’t more fun this way?” said Shio with her eye sparkle, somehow I just found another side of her that I don’t know, Shio then look at the choir club thinking I might join the choir club, “So are you interested?” said Shio, then turning her head she sees me playing with a grasshopper, “Hey are you listening Yukisa!” “Yeah, I’m listening, but the choir club doesn’t have a very good voice and the song they sing are always picky and sometimes boring” the same goes in my school.

“Then let’s see the next room” said Shio, “Hey, I told you don’t pull me!” not long after that, a familiar sound has come to my ear,

“Wait a moment Shio!”

“What is it?”

“Don’t you hear a sound from a violin?”

“Hmmm, now that I hear it carefully….ah Yukisa, don’t run off so suddenly!”

I run straight to where the violin sound is, while hoping the person who plays it is who I thought. When arriving to the second music room where the classical music club, my thought was correct, “Woah, you ran faster than I thought Yukisa, ah that person is if I’m not mistaken ….” TSUKASA.

Really I could never get tired of his violin play, I can never say a word when he’s playing his violin, though the violin here is different from the one in my world but played in the same way. Well in my opinion the violins here is plain, but I guess it suits Tsukasa very well, and while Tsukasa plays his violin, I could know he enjoys it from the gentle and warm music he plays.

“Oi, earth to Yukisa” said Shio while snapping her finger in front of me, “Ah sorry Shio, it looks like I daydream again” “KYAAAAAAAAAAAA” “What was that?” said Shio, when we look through the window would you believe? All the girls from behind the door of the second music room jumped out suddenly, and there were plenty of them we are all surprised, I immediately suspect them as the Tsukasa fans, and before I know it Tsukasa has already figure out I’m here. I thought that he was mad at that time, but when he went to the window my mind was rumbling to escape, hide or stay and explain, and before I could even decide, Tsukasa is already in front of my face, and to make the situation worse, Shio just had to hide behind the bushes.

“What are you doing here?” asked Tsukasa, “Ehm, ah, I’m…I was wondering around to see how the other clubs are doing so I could choose which one I want to do” I said, “I see, well it’s impossible for you to enter this club” *Stab* he has no ill intention yet his words pierce my heart, “that’s true, I can’t play any instrument back home either” “But….. I’m sure you’ll find a club that suits you” said Tsukasa with a little smile, and it’s rare to see him smile so I was really happy when I see him like that. After that he wave his hand gently while closing the window while I wave back, “Are you sure you don’t have any relationship with him” said Shio with her eyes full curiosity and her hand on her chin while popping from behind (again) “Even if I do, the only relantionship we have are just being friends” I said while walking away from her, Shio then catch up with me and say, “Well then for our next destination will be the Horticulture club” “Hortins….what’s that?” “It’s a club where you’ll be able to plant pretty flowers and put them in the school garden and taking care of them carefully, actually some students call it the Hortiture club” “Well I do love flowers” and I’m interested to know about the flowers in the Human World.

We both then arrive at the green house, and when we enter slowly it amazes my eye that I could see many flowers in one place, plus the green house is very spacious, and there’s even more outside the greenhouse. There were many kind of flowers, with soo many color, soo many sizes, and soo many unique, furthermore I really love flowers, maybe I could join the Horticulture club after all, “Is there something I can do for you?” said a boy who comes out from behind us, “Well my friend here can’t decide which club she would join, but since she likes flower she thought that maybe she could join the Horticulture club” said Shio, “Really then, then I hope you could join here and have fun, why don’t I show you a few flowers that we bred here, oh and my name is Shioka Kurotsuchi, nice to meet you” “My name is Yukisa Fujina, nice to meet you” “Then what’s your friend name?” asked Shioka to me “Oh she is….” “Instead of telling my name, why don’t you hurry and show her around, she said she doesn’t have many time” said Shio while closing my mouth, “Okay then, then I’ll show you one of our best flowers that are blooming right now”

“Hey Shio, what was that for?”

“Hmm, you know”

“Oh I get it, you’re troubled for having him to have the same name as you right?”

“Is that a problem, and don’t laugh!”

“This flower is called Belladonna Lily, this is my favorite from all of the flowers” “I could see why it becomes your favorite” I said to Kurotsuchi-senpai*, “You’re right, there are many colorful one here” said Shio “This one is called Bluebell, it hasn’t bloom fully yet but when it blooms I’m sure you’ll love it” said  Kurotsuchi-senpai “I had a feeling I will” I said, “Kurotsuchi-senpai, what kind of flower is this?” asked Shio while pointing out a flower,

“Ah that’s a Cosmos, it’s a simple flower but it’s very beautiful”

“Yes it is”

“Well then shall we go outside then, there are even more beautiful flowers outside” we go outside just like Kurotsuchi-senpai told us to, and just like he said, there are many beautiful flowers here.

Me and Shio gaze at the garden fill with different kind of flowers, there are some that hasn’t bloom yet but that doesn’t matter at all, “Wah, its beautiful right Shi….Where did she go?” I look left and right to look for Shio and who would have thought she’s already on the other edge of the garden, “Hey Yukisa, hurry and get here this is too beautiful to miss!” cried Shio, “Yeah I’m coming!” I cried back.

“I see there are many kind flower here aren’t they?” I said to Kurotsuchi-senpai while going to where Shio is, “Well in total of the kinds of flowers here and in the greenhouse is 47 kinds” he said, “Wow that’s a lot!” I said, “Yup, but compared to the flowers from all over the world, this is nothing” while listening to Kurotsuchi-senpai I look around to see all the pretty flowers, to have soo many beautiful flowers to see, and to have more flowers all over the worlds it would be fun to see it all, “You’re slow Yukisa!” said Shio, “No need to be mad okay?”  “Hey Kurotsuchi-senpai, this flower is called Lilacs right? I’ve seen it in books but I’ve always wanted to see it, oh and this is called spring snowflake right? Its soo pretty” said Shio while running around, “I see you’re pretty knowledgeable about this” said Kurotsuchi-senpai, “Well yeah that’s because……”  

*Senpai is used in Japan for upperclassman

Shio then strangely frozen, “What’s wrong Shio, did something happen?” I asked, “I’m sorry Yukisa, I forget to tell you this” said Shio with her face ready to cry, “Tell me what?”

“Ahh good timing; Yukisa let me introduce you to our club leader” the club leader huh, I definitely want to meet him or so I thought, “Oh are these the freshman who are interested in our club Shioka?” GIGUK! This voice, I know it from somewhere. I carefully turn around and it just my luck to have HIM to be the Horticulture club leader, “Yano-senpai?!” “Welcome my cute kitten, did you come here to see me?” he said while getting closer to me while I was trying to get away from him,

 “Yeah the hell we would come for you!” said Shio while hitting her brother with her fist, is she really a girl? “Ooow, that hurt Shio, can you be a little softer with your brother?” “Then stop harassing my friend you idiot brother!” “Well as long as you don’t hit my face, I’ll be fine and the girls over there won’t get worried about me” said Yano-senpai, seriously the more I see him, the more I feel that human is a weird being, “So your name is Shio” said Kurotsuchi-senpai, Shio then froze but then rage with anger, “BIG BROTHER!!!!” when Shio turns around her brother has already gone. Shio didn’t say anything though she has an obvious aura that says “I’m going to kill him the next time I see him”

“So are you thinking of joining the Horticulture club?” asked Kurotsuchi-senpai, “I don’t think I want to be in the same club as Yano-senpai” I answered, “Hahahaha, is that how it is, well don’t think badly of him, he might be like that but he is a very kind and responsible guy, and because of him and his knowledge was able to keep this club going and we get newcomers because of him” said Kurotsuchi-senpai, “Is this the end of the world” I said, “Hahahaha, you’re a funny person” said Kurotsuchi-senpai while patting my head, all I did was smile after that and thought that Kurotsuchi-senpai is a gentle and kind person. I go see Shio while she has that killing aura around, “Please calm down Shio, you’re going to have Kurotsuchi-senpai the wrong expression on you” I said, “Ah yes, I think I’ve calmed down a bit” said Shio, “Come on, let’s forget about your brother and let’s see the other club” I said while dragging her up, she still has the killing aura though but now I feel sorry for my friend at home when they have to deal with me when I had my killing aura, I now know how they feel.

Time flies and we’ve already look the Journalism club, Dance club, Drama club, and ETC, and finally Shio is worn out, “You….do you have to complain every single club you don’t like?” “I can’t help it, none of them have me interest” and I’m actually looking a club where I could find interesting thing of the Human world, “Well it’s getting late so we better go home for today, we’ll start hunting again the day after tomorrow” said Shio while scratching her head and sigh of exhaustion. Why did she call this hunting? “Why hunting the day after tomorrow?” “HELLO, did you forget we’re going out tomorrow?!” “Yes, yes I’m sorry I’m just kidding” actually I really forgot, “Well don’t forget and see you tomorrow” “See you Shio”

Shio has gone already while I stretch my body after running around the school, “I guess I’ll have a long, nice and warm bath after this” I said, while going to the school gate. And there who would have thought I could meet up with Tsukasa, “Tsukasa, wait up!” I cried while waving my hand so he would notice me, “Ah Yukisa, you’re still here at this late” said Tsukasa, “Well yeah, I got my reason though” I said as if I’m fine, “You’re going back now?” asked Tsukasa,

“Yeah, it’s late but I have to hurry since I’m making dinner, but our supply from our world is running out so I have to get familiar with this world food I guess, and I have to get a job as well”

“Looks like you’ll have a busy week this week”

“I guess but I’ll manage somehow”

“So shall we go to your house?”

“Okay lets……..eeeehh?!”

“What?”

“Nothing, it’s just that is it okay for you to just come to my house?”

“It’s not like anyone is waiting for me at my house”

“You didn’t bring one of your maid or butler?’

“Don’t store false information in your head”

“Ah… sorry”

Tsukasa he isn’t worry about me isn’t he? No way, like that could happen, “So shall we go now, and if you could you can have dinner with us?” I said offering to Tsukasa, “Yeah, I would like that” said Tsukasa agreeing.

We walked to my house peacefully, but on the way I feel like it’s too peaceful that I’ m troubled with it. What to do, what to talk, if this keep going I feel even troubled and uneasy even more. And on the way to my home, I meet up with Sayaka, the neighbor of mine, “Sayaka, good afternoon”  “Good afternoon Yukisa, I see you’re going home from school as well, and who would that might be?” she asked after seeing Tsukasa, “Ah, this is a friend from my school, Tsukasa Shou” I answered, “And Tsukasa, this is Sayaka Takaramanaka, my neighbor next door” Tsukasa then nod his head to say it’s great to meet you

“Oh, so Tsukasa is just your friend. I thought he would be your boyfriend since you’re walking home together” said Sayaka with a straight face, “WA….wah, n…no, it’s definitely not like that right Tsukasa” I said with unstable words, “Hmm I wonder are you too shy to say it” said Tsukasa with a grin.

 “Tsukasa, don’t tease me!”

“Oh you can tell?”

“You’ve been teasing me a lot lately, so of course I could tell”

“Well I see you guys are very close” said Sayaka with a smile, well I have to go now since I have something to do bye, and please come to my house next time” “Bye Sayaka, I will” then Sayaka takes off.

“At least you don’t have problem in your house like last time” said Tsukasa, “Please don’t remind me off that, it worn me out just to think of it” “All right then, shall we move on?” said Tsukasa. When we continue going to my house, I could still remember our conversation like in the back of my head. And worse because I still remember it my face is still red even though I’m already home.

“What are you standing for? Are we coming in?” asked Tsukasa, “Y…yes you’re right please come in” I said, “Then please excuse me” after we come in, the place is quiet and when I look up, I see Atsuka hanging on the lamp. I was surprised that I let my bag fall, “Atsuka what are you doing?” I asked, “Sis…ter, I’m glad you’re home” said Atsuka with his eyes watery. Huh?! Glad, sissy voice, watery eyes, and a smile!! This is definitely abnormal, “What happened to your brother?” “He might have seen a spider; the first time he was like this is when he first saw a big spider that he was so shocked that he that the stock up brother I know becomes an innocent and defenseless brother with a baby face on, would you believe it?” “Should we help him?” asked Tsukasa with his usual face, “He’ll be annoying again, but since I don’t like spider either so I’ll help him out a bit. Where’s the spider Atsuka?” Atsuka then covers a little of his face and point out to the sofa, “Right, Tsukasa, you can wait at the dining room, I promise it won’t take long” Tsukasa then just nod and go as I’ve told.

I then move the coach and a big but thin spider come out. It then run really fast that I don’t think I could kill it, maybe a little spell would work on it, “Thondoro Monzelle” and the spider is shock to bits and died , though the thunder isn’t strong enough to hurt humans just like Tsukasa’s thunder spell. Even though I heard a lot rumors that he didn’t care much about school but his score and talent with magic is brilliant that even rivals Hanna, though from his personality I don’t think he’ll go serious over some grade.

“Great job sister” “Wah, oh it’s you Atsuka, always the one who startled me” and you’re back to normal as well, “I’ll be in charge with dinner” said Atsuka. I go to the dining room and I see Tsukasa sitting while waiting,

“Sorry for the wait, right now Atsuka is making our dinner”

“I thought your the one who always makes dinner?”

“Well this is his cute way of saying thanks”

Atsuka has finished cooking and of course we eat together, but really, the atmosphere is really gloomed with two pacifists around. “I’m done” said Atsuka and Tsukasa, and what the hell! It’s only been ten minutes and they’re done?! Atsuka gets up and say “I’m going to be in my room to do my homework from school, do not disturb me then” and then use his magic to teleport himself, “Can’t he just walk up stairs?” I said, “So Tsukasa, you also know the conditions going here from the headmaster right?” “Yeah, it makes sense not to use magic here since no one in the Human World believes in magic” “I guess so” “Well I better get going” “Already?” “Yeah, I can’t stay here too long” “Well you don’t have any reason to stay now, so at least I’ll accompany you outside”  I have a feeling he would refuse so before he says anything, I push him till we’re outside, “By the way, where is your house?” I asked, “I live in an apartment, I’ll show around” “Hmm” with a smile.

Next day, I go to school and this time I’m not late. I go in the classroom and I see Shio is waiting for me, “Good morning Shio” “Morning Yukisa, hey, hey, there’s a good movie now playing at the cinema, are you free this Sunday?” Oh so humans have cinemas and movie as well, this will be a good chance to study it, “Yeah sure, I’m free” “Great, I already asked Gia, Mina, and Ersa to come”  “Looks like it’ll be a fun” I said “I know right?”

When I look behind Shio, I can see Rio is hanging out with his friend, and what surprise me is when I see him smile I can’t help but to think he’s cute, “So Rio likes to hang out with his friend, I thought he was the pacifist type of guy” “Well there’s a lot of sides of him you haven’t seen” “Really?” I said with and with an unusual face “Yukisa a…are you interested in him” “What, pffft, no way, FYI I’m not dating anyone till I graduate” “Ehhh, really? It feels lonely” “Well, not like I even care if I date anyone or not” “Have you ever feel to be someone you like?” the bell then ring then everyone get in their sit, the teacher then comes in.

To be someone I like huh, like it’s easy to find one anyway. Time flies and it’s already break time, “Yu-ki-sa” “What is it this time Shio?” “You see, I want to introduce you to Otonoshi Kuruda, he’s my brother’s best friend, I’ll bet you’ll get along with him well” “Really, then it won’t hurt to meet him, he’s not another weirdo is he?” “Trust me; the only thing weird about him is that he could get along well with my brother” “Well then can I meet him right away?” “Let’s go” Shio pull my hand and we go upstairs. When we go to Shio’s brother classroom, it was crowded as usual with girls. But even with that I could still see Yano-senpai pleasing the girls; I could never understand how he is popular except how handsome his face is. Though after I look aside, it looks like there was another person that the girls are after, a man with shiny brown hair and about as tall as him and has green eyes, “Is that person next to Yano-senpai is Otonoshi-senpai?” I asked to Shio, “Yup, just like my brother he’s quite popular with the girls” again Shio pull me and immediately go to where her brother is.

“Oh Shio, you came to see your precious brother right? And to even bring your friend Yukisa how thoughtful of you” Yano-senpai comes running to hug Shio but before he could do that, Shio slaps him with some sort of paper fan, “That’s cruel, could you be more gentle with your own brother?” “Then stop acting stupid in front of me” again they don’t get along well huh, “Really you guys, could you for once act as a normal brother sister relationship?” said Otonoshi-senpai “I could if I don’t have a brother like him” said Shio, “Otonoshi-senpai right? I’m Shio friend Yukisa, I heard about you from Shio so I wanted to meet you” “Really, then it’s nice to meet you Yukisa, hope we could get along well” said Otonoshi-senpai with a smile, “Hmm”

Giguk, looks like it’ll be bad to hang around too much. I know this feeling anywhere, “Uh Shio, I think we better….” but before I could finish my sentences, someone pushes me and Shio away, “Akira-sama, Otonoshi-Sama please have our cupcakes we made from economic class for you” as I thought, it’s their FAN CLUB, I think I’m getting used to it for having people glare at me with anger and jealousy every time I’m with the “SECRET STAR” it was a terrible feeling. “Thank you ladies, I’m touch with your cupcakes that’s filled with your kindhearted, I’ll definitely eat it with all my heart” eewww, can he be any grosser than this, but despite his saying he’s really dazzling, “hey, are you two okay?” asked Otonoshi-senpai with his arm lured to us, and immediately the glare grows stronger and stronger,

“Yeah, than…”

“Oh, look at the time Shio, sorry Otonoshi-senpai and Yano-senpai we will be going now” I said in a hurry, and then it’s my turn to drag Shio.

There was still fifteen minutes left till the lesson starts when I and Shio already went back to the classroom. “What was that for?” asked Shio, “Don’t you feel the pressure from those guys fan girls?” “Oh come on, they are just irritated a little, since I’m “Akira-sama” little sister” a little?! Shio is more oblivious than I thought.

I went out leaving Shio to buy some drink, it makes me calm down in a situation just like before, I bought it near the school grounds so now when I’m heading back I pass the basket ball field where Rio and his friends play basketball there and it was right when Rio shoots the ball to the hoop when I pass by, it’s so amazing that I subconsciously get close to them, and it looks like there were other people seeing the match. When I see that passive face Rio now with a face that he enjoys it and they want not to lose makes my eyes can’t take off from him, “Rio is so cool” thought me for a sec. But then I slap my face and try to deny it. Then the bell ring, “What are you doing here?” asked Rio when he’s behind me, “Whoa, hmm….well I was just seeing the match that’s all” since we’re in the same class we had to walk together, “So you were in the basketball club?” “Nope” said Rio, huh?! He was that good and he’s not in the club? “I was in the basketball team but then I got tired and quit in 2 months, but I do hate to lose” “What about other sport?” “Soccer, tennis, badminton, volleyball, got tired from them all, though sometimes I get to be a helper” so he’s the type who’s not interested to his specialty.

“Then how about joining a music club?” I said, “Huh?! You heard my singing voice right, why would I join a music club idiot?” bear with the idiot, bear with the idiot I thought with my body shivering from anger, “Well you could try to learn a musical instrument so you don’t have to sing, and I heard from Shio your parents work as a musician right I could never think like Shio that you’re not interested at it, at least you would think to try it from time to time” Rio the silent, “And since you’ve only been trying sports club right? How about trying something different even though it’s only a little, who knows you might get interested” “Pfffft,hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah” Rio then laugh, “What’s so funny!” he then pat my head that surprised me a little and said “You’re totally right, maybe I should give it a go” with a smile so charming, my face gets red and I think I’m being charmed even without a spell, “But if that doesn’t worked out you’ll take responsibility” he said while pointing at me “What?!” then we both laugh.
